Q: I am contemplating my own mortality. How do I start?

A: I am here to help.

My legal background and my tax knowledge will help you design a plan that accomplishes your wishes in the most tax efficient manner possible.  Whether you wish to pass the maximum amount of wealth on to your family, to accomplish charitable goals, or both, I can assist you.

A: I will assist you with kindness and compassion.

Having lost my own Mother recently, I am ever mindful of the grief you may be feeling.  I will help you through the process of administering the estate of a lost loved one. Whether your loved one died leaving a will or died without a will, as a lawyer and Certified Public Accountant, I am uniquely positioned to help you settle their affairs.

Q: Do I need a trust?

A: Short answer: Probably not.

However, you may need a trust if:

  • Anyone in your family has special needs
  • Your intended beneficiaries need help managing their money
  • You have a blended family (his kids, her kids, our kids)
  • If you have real property outside of your home state

Q: How do you charge your clients?

A: I prefer to charge my clients on the basis of time spent.
